I'm a little hesitant to give this standard C grading. I would say average on my overall feel. First off- I have been coming to this establishment for more than a year however I have only ever been to Boynton Beach this was my first time in lake worth. What's good about here is that it's in a plaza that's busy right before you enter Wellington area, this area was wayyyyyyy less hectic and busy than Boynton which is a plus because sometimes it's over run and you are irritated by the noise and craze. The space here is smaller BUT FREE WIFI they have an old fashion dispenser to fill with your flavors of choice and your milk. Boynton has the machine version. No preference for me but an observation. The ladies who greeted me were nice and friendly and let me take a moment to retain my thought process and also take pictures before I sat down. I ordered a Cubista small$2.39- it's iced cube decaf coffee cubes and you fill to your desire how much sweeter- your coffee blend- and flavor to your desire. THIS IS THE ONLY WAY I DRINK COFFEE COLD . I love it! Now for the cherry to my taste bud- what my heart has wanted for the last week: my sesame bagel toasted with cream cheese. I look forward to the crunchy bite and the fluffy interior how bagels I have before many times have tasted hot and FRESH. Today to my sorrow I got not fluff or fresh- just CRUNCH and hard bagel- tooooooo much cream cheese and that made me a little sad, since the brand of Brooklyn bagel is "it's all in the water". Their bagels are merited by how they are created fresh and ready behind the glass window- but today my bagel was hard and I lingered long to remove the excessive cream cheese from my lips- after trying to remove it with some napkins. Too much cream not enough bagel but like I said. I looked for what I craved and now I know that Boynton quality is better but Lake worth wait is nothing and the space is quieter and cozier. I guess you have to choose for yourself.

The lady who took care of my girl was so sweet. My fiancée went to this coffee shop because my friend was late for his own birthday. When she walked in she thought she had died and gone to heaven. There was a pump and flavor for every coffee in the world. She didn't know what to do with herself. She had to ask the worker there how things worked. Lol!! She ended up getting a coffee cupsta; which is a coffee with coffee ice cubes. She loved it!! Then got mad at me for now letting her know about this place before.

Terrible service experience this past Sunday, was better before but looks like this place isn't being managed well anymore.

Worst operation ever! Took forever to get 3 breakfast bagel sandwiches to go. Nowhere to sit or wait. Just to finally go home and find out the whole order was wrong.

Bagels are okay, every time I go I feel like I get the old stale bagels or something, but on the bright side the Lox spread is to die for!

The bagels are ok. For Florida. But I am so sick of their rude and unprofessional treatment, I won't ever go back. I went in yesterday, Sunday. I grabbed a container of cream cheese from the cold case and ordered a half-dozen everything bagels from the young lady behind the counter. Normally, if you're just buying bagels and not getting anything from the kitchen, you pay, they give you your bagels, that's it. No waiting. Not this time. First of all, the young woman that took my order was clearly having some kind of issue. She was leaning against the wall, moving very slowly and had to ask me to repeat my order twice. A half-dozen everything bagels. I had to say it three times. She was clearly distracted. After I paid her, she gave me my change, shoved the container of cream cheese across the counter (as if I would walk out of the store with the cream cheese in my hand instead of putting it in a bag) then walked away. She just walked toward the dining area and started having a conversation with another customer that was obviously also having trouble with this person. After waiting for about 5 minutes, I finally got another server's attention and asked her why my server walked away in the middle of my order. I showed her my receipt that showed all I had ordered were bagels. This one was also clearly annoyed. She started telling me that the first server had to talk to a customer. In the middle of my order? She just went on, basically telling me to just stop complaining. Finally, I said, 'Y'know, I think the words you're groping for are 'I'm sorry.'" She just stared at me with her mouth open. So, I asked for the manager. The manager was also clearly having a bad day. I tried to explain to him what had happened and how rude the servers were and he just cut me off, saying, "So, ya got what ya need now?" He must've said it 20 times. "Got what ya need? Got what ya need?" All the while, I was trying to tell him what happened. He obviously couldn't care less. Finally I told him I got everything I needed and I left. It's one thing if the service is not friendly. These people were outright rude. I don't care if they have the best bagels in Florida (which they don't), I will not reward a business that has such obvious contempt for its own customers.

Ok, let me say that I still like this place but it has changed over the last year or so. I don't know I guess when you build up a franchise store and then open a few more you just get to busy and don't really care how the store runs as long as it makes money. I think the value of the customer doesn't matter and that's a shame. I only stop in to buy the coffee because regardless it's Damn good coffee. Otherwise I spend my money at Brooklyn bagels in Wellington where they greet you and welcome you and put an effort in getting your order right rather then having teenagers behind the counter looking confused.

The bagels are pretty good but the service leaves much room for improvement. I got a dozen bagels sliced and they looked like they had been just haphazardly chopped up. I used to go to the Boynton location and they were much nicer. I ordered tuna, cream cheese, lox and some other things for a breakfast at my house and everyone enjoyed what they had, but the bagels were a mess.

Have not been there for a few months, since I was gravely disappointed with the previous service. Figured, we would give it a try this morning. No one in front of me, had to wait several minutes for cashier to come back to the counter, as she slowly walked back, she said,"thanks for waiting" , as if I had a choice. 4 bagels w spread, that's it, nothing fancy.20 min later, Get in the car start my journey with three kids going to three different schools, No sense of respect or concern for clients time. YES 20 MINUTES without a LINE. THE WHOLE ORDER WAS WRONG! Already on the road and if I go back, I would have to wait what another 20 minutes?? Went to DD kids order was perfect and fast. I would take the time to call and speak with management, but that would be useless since last time our conversation went like this, My order was all wrong. He said, but you got 4 bagels? Yes, but not what/ how I ordered. But you got the bagels? Yes, but I paid for 3 with cream cheese and 1 with butter and they are all butter. He seemed to think it was ok SINCE ... I got bagels, were wrong kind and wrong spread on it. AS IF, I walked up to the counter and said, : Hey, I am going to spend $10, just give me what you want, because I never get what I order anyway" MY CO WORKERS GRATEFUL FOR THE MESS UP, Yet ANOTHER BREASKFAST ON ME!!! NO THANKS, to Brooklyn Water Bagels!

I've been back a few times and have been much happier with them since my last review. I hope the great service continues.

So happy this location is so close. Bagels are so good. Service is always friendly. One of the few places that knows how to set up a drink counter. Soda machine is on one end, not in the middle of the coffee station. Straws and lids are between the two stations so both can get to them without crisscrossing and getting in each other's way. Only complaint - always freezing inside.

I used to go to the Delray location all the time and loved it. You can imagine how excited I was to find out there was one down the street from me in Lake Worth. However, my excitement quickly dwindled when I ordered my "usual" and was shocked at all the changes BWB has made... First off, the potatoes are now fried crappy hash brown triangles. So disgusting and frozen!! When I used to eat here a couple years ago, the potatoes were fresh home fries with delicious onions, perfectly caramelized. That was the first big disappointment. Sorry but McDonald's serves these better and at half the price. Secondly, the eggs are different. When I would order the omelette it would come out freshly made, nice and thin. Now, the omelette is some weird super fluffy thing that seems to be previously made and microwaved. Omelettes never come out with all those holes in it unless you are doing something not homemade. Also, it tasted watery. Sure the bagels are good and the ice coffee cubes are original (although I used to be able to serve myself the ice cubes and now they pre-portion it for you). I get it Brooklyn Water Bagel, you've been around a while now and have franchised out and because of this, your food has to suffer. God forbid you actually maintain the high quality standards that once made your place great. I will not be coming back again. I will much more gladly go across the street to Strathmore, where they make everything fresh and have stayed consistent in quality for the past 15 years. Thank you for ruining yet another place that used to be great....

Excellent bagels. When ordering a dozen make sure they give you the thirteenth free. They often "forget" to do so. Their bagels are excellent!!

So I did come back to try it again ... a true delight was making your own chocolate egg cream using U-Bet chocolate syrup, it's definitely a Brooklyn thing and worth the trip ! Leon gave us a tour, explained the entire water process of stripping down and building "Brooklyn" water, right down to the exact temperature, was very interesting.

Love it! Great friendly staff! Awesome authentic bagels. Love the fresh lox cream cheese on the seeded Russian. It's delish. Muffins look amazing! Skip Starbucks and Dunkin and stop here! You will be glad you did.

I can't believe the number of negative reviews for this place! I was vacationing in the area and my friend took me to this place for breakfast one morning. After that, I insisted we go back three more times. The service was friendly and professional, the omelets were delicious, but the big draw is those bagels! The dark Russian pump with sesame seeds? To. DIE! I'm back home in Michigan now and still dreaming of the bagels. And the warm weather....

Ordered a toasted Manhattan on seeded garlic pumpernickel. Got: un toasted, un-seeded and they put the cream cheese in the center hole but not on the bagel. I would have asked for a manager to fix it but I didn't spot anyone who looked over 17 years old. So basically it feels like the store is run by kids.

The last 3 time here, they got my bagel sandwich order wrong!! It's not that hard, I'm done with this place. And why can't they put the condiments, ketchup, mayo etc on the sandwich??

The bagels and coffee are killer. I have yet to try their cooked food, but a good bagel deals the deal for me. Also I love that this location has soy milk for the coffee. Surprisingly most coffee places don't! If you are looking for a good bagel, you found one!

The bagels are mediocre at best, the service is just flat out sad. Your going to pay a ridiculous amount for a fairly small sandwich. yes the atmosphere is nice. I enjoyed all the brooklyn posters/pics. but it doesnt make up for an indifferent owner and bland bad food. go across 441 to strathmore bagles and get a REAL bagel

Walking up to the store, a wonderful scent of freshly baked bagels wafted past me. I was so excited to try these bagels and they did not disappoint. I got the Asiago cheese bagel with chive cream cheese. The bagel was toasted perfectly with the right amount of crunch on the outside, and the middle was doughy, the perfect consistency for a bagel. I absolutely loved the bagel and I can't wait to come back to try the corned beef sandwich. Definitely try it out! You won't be disappointed!

We have lived near this restaurant for years, but only recently tried it. It is now one of our favorite breakfast places! We had previously stuck with Strathmore across the street, but I must admit that these bagels are much more tender. We love the whole wheat everything option, and egg whites and alpine lace swiss omelet sandwiches are great. Our kids love the stud muffins, and other varieties, as well. The coffee is very good, and everything we've had is consistent. It's a more casual option than Strathmore, and fewer options, but judging on the bagels alone - we would choose this place every time.

Oh my gosh, love, love, love. Bagels are not my favorite breakfast food, and I did not expect to like them as much as I did. The bagel sandwiches are awesome. They are huge, and the ingredients are fresh. They also have a decent muffin selection. I haven't tried their hot coffee, but their iced coffee is very good. The coolest thing about it is that the ice cubes are made out of decaf. Your iced coffee doesn't get watered down! They have a nice selection of syrups like caramel and hazelnut to add, also. The location is small with a few outdoor seats, and the employees have always been very friendly. Since we have moved nearby, this is at least a once a week stop for me. They are a chain that doesn't taste like a chain.

This place passed my bagel test. Which is a fresh bagel NOT toasted with a shmear of butter. It's not Essa bagel but it is real good. Crispy on the outside and almost soft on the inside. But it's 80 miles from my house. A short trip on my bike. I will still take a dozen home and freeze. Just need to find a closer location to sit and read the NY Post.

The bagels may be good, but I won't eat anywhere there are flies all over the food prep area. They need to clean up their act. My wife and I went there last week and counted at least a dozen flies. I wrote them to tell them about the problem. I went back today to give them a second chance, but as soon as I went in I saw two flies in the food prep area and walked out.

Its not bad for a bagel and coffee, but really nothing special either. They claim the products to use special "Brooklyn" water. This is definitely a fad within south florida due to the massive amount of New Yorkers. By the way not everyone is a New Yorker, fellow Floridians! Somewhat overpriced for what it is, but not a bad choice for breakfast.

Been here a few time and the service is starting to slack...The regular cashiers were promoted to expiditing or another task and the new ppl hired are not making the grade...orders that consist of just slicing a bagel and slapping cream cheese on, take 15 min...of course I'll be back but i may have to check my order before rushing outta there....

Love this place for coffee and bagels. These are the best bagels in south florida. The place is clean and friendly with did I mention great bagels!

Give me a break from that first review who is a new yelper who probably owns Strathmore across street. If these bagels are so bad then why do my parents and my kids love them? My daughter who doesn't make much effort eating loved the egg salad on a bagel . My son loved the lox and cream cheese . Ice coffee is a great idea to make the ice cubes out of coffee. They have hot and cold coffee selections and about 10 do your own syrups. The coffee isn't as good as Dunkin Donuts, but a great drink when getting a good bagel. I just bought a Bakers Dozen and the give you freezer bags with instructions to defrost and toast . That's a great idea because bagel places don't use preservatives and go bad in a few days unless you freeze.
